Practice:  Wes focuses his practice on the handling of complex litigation, including product liability and toxic tort, business, employment, civil rights and construction matters. He has defended toxic cases, including many multiple plaintiff cases, as either trial counsel or national counsel in 25 different states. His experience includes matters involving such toxic products as benzene, asbestos, diacetyl, various solvents, carbon monoxide, FIFRA products and surfactants and his general products defense experience includes auto design defects. He is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1989 in the areas of personal injury litigation defense and product liability defense. He has been named a member of the Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers since 2007 and is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society. He was named "2012 Lawyer of the Year" in his area by Best Lawyers.
